A Life Dedicated to Chiropractic

Dr. Marvin Talsky is one of chiropractic's most experienced practitioners and educators. A graduate of the Palmer College of Chiropractic in 1963, he began his clinical practice in 1965 and has been serving patients for over six decades. Few practitioners in any healthcare field can claim the depth of experience and accumulated clinical wisdom that Dr. Talsky brings to each patient encounter.

Over the course of his career, Dr. Talsky has practiced at four clinic locations throughout the Chicago metropolitan area, developing a deep understanding of how the nervous system responds to gentle, tonal adjustments. His patients range from newborns to nonagenarians, and his reputation for producing results where other approaches have fallen short has made him a sought-after practitioner and educator.

Co-Founder of Torque Release Technique

In 1995, Dr. Talsky co-founded the Torque Release Technique (TRT), one of the most extensively researched tonal chiropractic techniques in the world. TRT uses a precision adjusting instrument to deliver reproducible, low-force inputs to the nervous system. It has since been taught to thousands of chiropractors globally and has been the subject of peer-reviewed clinical research demonstrating its effectiveness.

TRT represents Dr. Talsky's commitment to developing evidence-based, gentle approaches to chiropractic care that work for the broadest possible patient population.

Founder of Talsky Tonal Chiropractic Training

In 2001, Dr. Talsky founded Talsky Tonal Chiropractic (TTC) as an educational organization dedicated to training chiropractors in the principles and practice of tonal chiropractic. Since then, he has personally taught more than 133 seminars to chiropractors across the United States and internationally.

TTC seminars have earned a reputation for transforming how participating chiropractors think about and practice their craft. Many attendees report that the training is among the most impactful professional development experiences of their careers.

Mentors and Influences

Dr. Talsky's clinical philosophy was shaped by two towering figures in chiropractic history:

Clay Thompson, D.C. was the developer of the Thompson Terminal Point Technique and the inventor of the Thompson drop table. His innovations in gentle, precise adjusting profoundly influenced Dr. Talsky's approach to patient care.

Reggie Gold, D.C. was one of chiropractic's most eloquent philosophers and educators. His articulation of the chiropractic principle, the relationship between the nerve system and its role in health, gave Dr. Talsky a conceptual framework that continues to guide his practice and teaching to this day.

A Legacy of Excellence

With over 60 years in clinical practice, 133+ seminars taught, two landmark technique co-founded, and thousands of patients helped, Dr. Talsky's legacy in chiropractic is both deep and broad. Yet his greatest satisfaction remains the simple act of helping each individual patient achieve better health through the power of tonal chiropractic.
